This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
Job Posting:
We are seeking a compassionate, attentive, and reliable Respite Provider to support a very active child with autism in the Suamico, WI area.
WAGE:
- $10.60/hour
- Mileage Reimbursement (.70/mile)
SCHEDULE:
- To be discussed and determined between provider and managing party (parents). Approximation as follows (25hrs. per month):
- Occasional weekday afternoons; after 4pm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respite care is to be conducted in child’s home -or out in the community.
- Assist with transportation from school back home or out to community activities.
- Accompany child to scheduled community activities, including swim lessons, open gym, side-by-side play, and appointments
QUAILIFICATIONS:
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- First Aid and CPR required
- Comfortable with pets in home.
