About this role

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Frontline Support Solutions and Superior Mobile Health have been awarded a contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Temple, Texas. We are seeking dedicated EMTs to join our team and support this important mission by providing high-quality interfacility medical transportation services.

Position Details

- Employment Type: Full-Time

- Pay Rate: $23.30/hour

- 24/72 Rotation

- 12-Hour 2-2-3 Schedule

- Video Laryngoscopy & i-gel Airway Devices

Modern Fleet

- Ford Transit and Dodge Promaster Ambulances with Power-Load Systems

- Type III Ambulances Equipped with Power-Load Technology

Essential Responsibilities

- Provide emergency medical care and patient assessment within EMT scope of practice.

- Safely operate ambulances and transport patients in accordance with company policies and state regulations.

- Communicate effectively with healthcare facilities, first responders, dispatch, and clinical staff.

- Operate and maintain medical equipment used during patient care and transport.

- Complete accurate electronic patient care documentation (ePCR).

- Maintain vehicle readiness through equipment checks, cleaning, and restocking.

- Adhere to all clinical, safety, and operational protocols.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED

- Current Texas EMT Certification

- Current BLS Certification

- Valid Driver's License with Acceptable Driving Record

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 150 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with assistance

- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work on uneven surfaces

- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, low-light environments, and stressful emergency situations
