Long-Lewis of Muscle Shoals is looking for a Service Technician whos ready to grow, perform advanced diagnostics, and be part of a strong, customer-focused service department.
What Youll Do
- Perform accurate vehicle diagnostics including check engine lights, drivability issues, warning indicators, and electrical problems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance, but primarily diagnose on all makes and models—everything from brake jobs to suspension work and basic services.
- Use diagnostic tools (scan tools, multimeters, etc.) to identify issues and recommend proper repair procedures.
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.
- Document all work performed and findings accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to safety and manufacturer repair guidelines.
- Keep your workspace organized and tools maintained.
What Were Looking For
- 2+ years of professional technician experience in a dealership or high-volume shop.
- Master Technician Certification a plus but not required .
- Ford Certification a plus but not required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and interpreting codes.
- ASE certifications a plus but not required.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Pay & Benefits
- Flat Hour Rate (FHR): $30–$60/hour , based on experience & certifications
- Monday–Friday Schedule – No Weekends
