About this role

What You'll Do

- Oversee and manage our revenue recognition and cost of revenue processes and reporting, ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP (specifically ASC 606) and internal financial policies.

- Own treasury administration and preparation of all debt and liquidity reporting.

- Perform month-end close responsibilities including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accelerate the close process.

- Act as a subject matter expert for your accounting processes, document these processes accordingly with SOP creation and maintenance, and recommend and implement efficiencies through automation and best practices.

- Utilize strong GAAP knowledge to ensure compliance, perform technical accounting research, and document findings as needed.

- Assist with the creation and delivery of key reporting metrics and analytics for leadership.

- Assist with system implementations and integrations as identified or needed.

- Prepare and/or perform queries and large dataset calculations as needed.

- Create ad-hoc reports and analyses to support cross-functional teams as well as the finance and accounting team.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and accountants, fostering professional growth within the team.

- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. MAcc or MBA is a plus.

- 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audit. Public accounting plus industry experience highly preferred.

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.

- Experience with SQL query construction and data visualization is highly preferred.

- Experience with NetSuite or other major ERP systems is a plus.

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

- Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to process high volumes of transaction data without compromising accuracy.

- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of urgency.
