Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. This role involves providing high-quality, personalized care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation

- Provide companionship and support to promote emotional well-being

- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring

- Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times

- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any significant changes in clients conditions

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide coordinated care

Requirements

- Previous experience in direct care or a related field is a plus

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license

- Pass background checks
