Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Brighton, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals by assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence in a respectful and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Help clients with mobility and transfer tasks safely.

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.

- Support clients with medication reminders and adherence.

- Perform light housekeeping and errands to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

- Monitor and report any changes in the clients condition or behavior to supervisory staff.

- Maintain accurate records of care and services provided.

- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and team members.

Requirements

- Previous experience in direct care or home health is a plus.

- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.

- Must be able to pass a background check.

- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation is a plus.
