Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Oxford, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own homes. This position offers an hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00, paid semi-monthly.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.

- Assist clients with medication reminders as per care plan instructions.

- Perform light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.

- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervisor.

- Maintain accurate records of care provided.

- Demonstrate respect, patience, and empathy in all interactions with clients and their families.

Requirements

- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.

- Ability to pass background.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable transportation to travel to clients homes in Oxford, MI.

- Ability to work independently and follow care plans closely.

- Physical capability to assist with client mobility and perform household tasks.
