Description
The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and general maintenance of various buildings and properties throughout the Shoals area. This position performs a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks to help ensure facilities and grounds remain clean, safe, functional, and well maintained.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Painting and general property repairs
- Minor plumbing and general electrical work
- HVAC filter replacement and basic HVAC maintenance
- Groundskeeping and landscaping
- Janitorial and facility upkeep
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment as needed
- General building and property maintenance
Compensation: Up to $18/hour, based on experience.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related hands-on field . Candidates must have an unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record and be comfortable operating various types of vehicles and equipment.
This position requires a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must also be comfortable performing physically demanding work and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
