Position: Production Manager – Busbar & Upcaster Department: Production Location: Anand, Gujarat
### Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and control daily production activities for Busbar & Upcaster .
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per quality, quantity and delivery schedules .
- Monitor process parameters, machine performance, productivity and material utilization.
- Control rejection, rework, scrap and production losses.
- Ensure compliance with SOP, work instructions, quality standards, safety and 5S .
- Manage manpower and develop supervisors, operators and helpers.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Stores and Purchase for smooth production.
- Monitor machine breakdowns and ensure timely corrective action with Maintenance.
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks and implement improvement initiatives.
- Drive OEE, productivity improvement, cost reduction and process optimization .
- Review daily/monthly production performance and prepare management reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety practices and compliance with company policies.
### Qualification
BE / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering
### Experience
8–15 years of experience in Busbar, Upcaster, Copper Processing, Wire & Cable or similar manufacturing industries.
