Job Purpose
The Team Leader –
Leasing is responsible for supervising and directing the day-to-day activities
of the leasing team, ensuring occupancy and revenue targets are achieved. The
role involves coaching leasing consultants, overseeing lead management and deal
closing, and supporting the Leasing Manager in executing leasing strategies and
maintaining strong tenant relationships.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate
the daily activities of the leasing team to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
- Distribute leads,
inquiries, and units among team members and monitor timely follow-up.
- Monitor individual and
team performance against agreed targets and KPIs.
- Coach, train, and mentor
leasing consultants on sales technique, negotiation, and product knowledge.
- Conduct regular team
meetings to review pipeline, performance, and market updates.
- Support and, where needed,
lead negotiations for complex deals, VIP clients, or escalations.
- Ensure leasing
consultants adhere to company policies, approved pricing, and lease terms.
- Review and validate
lease documentation and offers prepared by the team before submission.
- Monitor tenant inquiries
and complaints handled by the team, ensuring timely and satisfactory
resolution.
- Assist the Leasing
Manager in preparing leasing reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Coordinate with
Marketing on lead-generation campaigns, promotions, and launch activities.
- Liaise with Property
Management, Finance, and Legal on lease processing, handover, and compliance
matters.
- Conduct or oversee site
tours and support the team in closing deals when required.
- Track market trends and
competitor activity and share insights with the team and management.
- Identify training needs within the team and
recommend development plans.
### Requirements
Education: BSc in Finance,
Business, Economics, or a related field
Experience: 5 – 8 years of
experience in leasing or real estate, including at least 1–2 years in a
supervisory or team lead role.
