This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and supportive Respite Provider to assist an individual in their home and occasionally in the community. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping others with everyday activities, offering encouragement, and fostering a positive, comfortable environment.
Location : Chippewa Falls, WI Schedule : Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, Flexible Occasional weekends Rate : $14.13/hour, with a daily code rate of $207.24 for qualifying 8-hour shifts or longer.
Responsibilities The Respite Provider will provide support with routine, day-to-day activities, which may include: • Assisting with basic household routines, such as making the bed • Helping with meals and simple meal preparation • Assisting with care and cleaning of a guinea pigs cage • Providing companionship, encouragement, and positive support • Helping the individual participate in activities and errands within the community • Supporting independence and participation in normal daily routines
Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: • Reliable and dependable • Patient, friendly, and compassionate • Comfortable assisting with everyday household activities • Able to provide respectful, person-centered support • Comfortable working both in the home and occasionally in the community • Cannot be afraid of dogs
CPR certification is not required but is considered a plus.
