Join University Home Care Inc as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing compassionate and professional in-home nursing care to patients in Westland, MI. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document all care provided accurately.
- Assist with patient education regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred, especially in home health or related settings.
- Strong patient assessment and observation skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
