Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to clients in Saint Clair, MI. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Help with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.

- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.

- Follow all care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements

- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is an asset.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift clients as needed.

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.

- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.

- Must pass background check.
