Education - BE Electrical

Experience - 6 Month to 3 Years

### Job Purpose
To support electrical planning, installation, testing, maintenance, documentation, and site supervision while ensuring compliance with project requirements, departmental SOPs, quality standards, and EHS guidelines.
###

### Key Responsibilities
Electrical Planning & Site Set-Up
- Assist in electrical load calculations, distribution planning, and preparation of electrical drawings.
- Support electrical site mobilization through coordination of materials and manpower.
- Coordinate with the Electrical team and concerned departments for smooth site execution.
Electrical Work & Supervision
- Assist in planning monthly electrical material requirements and ensure optimum material utilization.
- Ensure appropriate selection and use of cables, equipment, and electrical materials as per load requirements.
- Monitor electrical works and report deviations to the Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Electrical.
- Support timely completion of electrical activities as per project schedules.
Testing & Maintenance
- Conduct electrical testing as per departmental SOPs, including Earthing, RCCB, Lux, Main Panel, DG, SDB, and Pre-Monsoon checks.
- Follow LOTO and Work Permit procedures during maintenance activities.
- Assist in ensuring electrical equipment remains safe and operational.
Documentation
- Maintain electrical records, inspection reports, checklists, and other documentation as per IMS and departmental requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of required records.
EHS Compliance
- Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure safe working practices at site.
- Create safety awareness among electricians and report unsafe work to the Engineer / Sr. Engineer.
- Ensure proper earthing of metal-bodied equipment and compliance with LOTO, Work Permit, and PPE requirements.

Key Authorities

- Report and escalate unsafe work and recommend stoppage until safe conditions are restored.
- Verify / sign authorized electrical permits, checklists, material issue slips, and inspection-related documents as per departmental procedures.
- Verify electrical equipment and material compliance with project and safety requirements.
