Process Engineer / Technician - Spray Drying / Fluid Bed Drying / Vacuum Drying (m/f/d)

As part of one of our project teams, you will contribute to process engineering activities from requirements definition through implementation, potentially also on-site at our clients' facilities.
You have technical, operational, or engineering experience with spray dryers, fluid bed dryers, and/or drying processes. You will be mentored by experienced colleagues and benefit from intensive learning on the job.

## Explore your tasks and responsibilities

- Design and develop with us requirements for process equipment like spray dryers, fluid bed dryers, vacuum dryers and related processes
- Support the resolution of technical challenges related to process engineering, material handling, and supporting systems by developing solutions and preparing technical recommendations
- Communicate with process equipment suppliers, refine technical requirements, and evaluate proposed solutions from the end-user perspective
- Following the procurement of process equipment, support the supplier's design phase and review documentation together with the project team, identifying potential design issues and discussing solutions with suppliers and clients
- Conduct visits at equipment manufacturers to review manufacturing progress, perform pre-acceptance inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), support installation, commissioning, and qualification activities on-site

## Show your expertise

- Experience with spray drying, fluid bed drying, or vacuum drying systems, either within the pharmaceutical industry or other industrial sectors, gained from an operator, technician, mechanical engineering, or process engineering perspective
- Initial experience in plant engineering, equipment design, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of GMP guidelines and current industry standards
- Experience in project structuring, cost and schedule management, and technical procurement is helpful
- Willingness to travel within the Basel region is required
- Very good German language skills and additional English language skills would be advantageous but is not mandatory
