Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to provide support and care to clients in Auburn Hills, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and ensure their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed

- Provide companionship and emotional support

- Assist with mobility and transferring

- Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care

- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals

- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation

- Ensure clients' safety and well-being at all times

Requirements

- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.

- Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Reliable transportation to and from client locations

- Ability to pass background check
