Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home support to clients in Lake Angelus, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.

- Help clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

- Document care provided and communicate any concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.

- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being.

Requirements

- Previous experience in personal care or related field is a plus.

- Ability to assist clients with mobility and personal hygiene efficiently and respectfully.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a compassionate attitude.

- Ability to pass background checks and comply with all company and regulatory requirements.
