On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are
looking for a competent and experienced Mechanical Technician.

POSITION IN THE COMPANY

Position Label : Mechanical
Technician .

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Areas of Responsibility:

- Inspect, service,
troubleshoot, and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, filling and packaging
machines, pipework, valves, compressors, and other plant machinery.
- Perform planned
preventive maintenance, equipment alignment, lubrication, fitting, and
replacement of worn components.
- Respond quickly
to breakdowns, identify root causes, and recommend measures to improve
equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Maintain workshop tools and maintenance records
while complying with plant safety, hygiene, and quality procedures

Requirements

MANDATORY
REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education

- Higher National
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience:

- Four
years of relevant experience in a busy manufacturing environment.

ADDED ADVANTAGE

Language
Skills:

- Knowledge
of fabrication, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and safe maintenance practices
