We are seeking a Note Purchasing Analyst to support the evaluation and acquisition of note purchasing opportunities. This role will be responsible for conducting financial and property analysis, performing due diligence, evaluating risk, and supporting note purchasing decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working efficiently and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze potential note purchasing opportunities and determine deal viability

- Perform detailed due diligence, including title, lien, property, borrower, and public record research

- Review loan documents, payment histories, balances, property values, and other supporting documentation

- Conduct comparable property and market analysis to assist with valuation

- Evaluate potential risks, costs, and expected returns associated with note acquisitions

- Prepare deal summaries and recommendations for review by leadership

- Assist with negotiating purchase terms and evaluating counteroffers

- Coordinate with brokers, banks, attorneys, title companies, and other external partners as needed

- Track note opportunities from initial evaluation through closing

- Identify discrepancies or concerns within documentation and escalate issues when appropriate

- Maintain accurate deal records, reports, and pipeline information

- Assist the Note Purchasing Specialist with complex research or transaction questions as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field preferred

- 3+ years of experience in note purchasing, real estate, acquisitions, lending, or a related field preferred

- Experience with due diligence, title research, property valuation, or financial analysis

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
