Description:
Review water and wastewater capacity reservation (WCR) applications and generate WCR letters for impact fee administration. Assess impact fees within an excel based web client in accordance with ordinances, state laws and regulations, review legal documents, surveys, site plans and plats. Daily correspondence with customers regarding the status of their applications. Maintain collaboration with other sections, divisions and departments. Will assist in creating reports, standard operating procedures and assist in special projects as necessary. Must be proficient in Microsoft word, excel, teams, outlook, and adobe. Have superb customer service experience via phone / in-person / email. Great writing and critical thinking skills, for document analysis. Able to review surveys, floor plans, site plans, google earth, GIS / mapping systems and a problem solver. The applicant will have access to service animals and secured areas within the HPW building
KNOWLEDGE: Requires a related Associate's degree, such as Building Inspection, or the equivalent.
Require a valid Texas driver's license
EXPERIENCE: Two years of skilled, journey level experience in building trades, inspection or plan examining in the area of analysis to be performed are required.
Two additional years of skilled, journey level experience in building trades, inspection or plan examining in the area of analysis to be performed may be substituted for the above degree requirement.
