In this role, you will leverage your research expertise, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to:
- Conduct primary research through customer interviews and surveys to understand customer needs, preferences, and challenges.
- Analyses qualitative and quantitative research findings to identify meaningful customer insights.
- Develop and maintain ideal customer profiles, including demographic and psychographic characteristics.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities for innovation and product development.
- Support product definition by contributing to product features, specifications, benefits, and value propositions.
- Translate research findings into structured documentation and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and innovation initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and conduct primary research, including customer interviews and surveys.
- Identify and reach out to relevant existing customers and prospects through cold emailing, cold calling, and other research outreach methods to recruit participants for research.
- Schedule and coordinate customer/prospect meetings and interviews for research purposes.
- Analyse research findings to identify customer needs, preferences, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain ideal customer profiles using demographic and psychographic data.
- Structure customer needs, desires, and problems into actionable insights.
- Conduct secondary research, including competitor analysis, market mapping, published reports, and desk research.
- Utilise AI research tools to support research, synthesis, and insight generation.
- Support product definition by contributing to features, specifications, benefits, and value propositions.
- Prepare research reports, requirement documents, presentations, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Cloud Native Engineering, and QA teams.
- Support brainstorming sessions and contribute to ideation and innovation initiatives.
- Ensure research deliverables are accurate, structured, and useful for decision-making.
- Stay updated on consumer behaviour, market trends, product analytics, and AI-powered research tools.
- Contribute to product improvements and new product development initiatives.

- You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations Team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4–6 years of experience in research, analytics, product analysis, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of primary research methodologies, including customer interviews and survey design.
- Experience in secondary research, including market research, competitor analysis, and desk research.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare structured reports, presentations, and decision-ready documents.
- Understanding of customer profiling and insight generation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and a customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to work on-site.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Experience with SQL and/or business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Working knowledge of Python or AI platforms such as Claude to support data analysis, modelling, experimentation, and testing of ideas.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and interpreting experimental results.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications for optimization and predictive analysis.
- Familiarity with survey tools such as Google Forms, Type form, or SurveyMonkey.
- Experience using CRM platforms and AI-powered research assistants.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in product development.
- Experience working in consumer products, business services, or product-led organizations.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and structured problem-solving abilities.
