About this role
We are looking for a talented Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Culture (DEIC) Director to join our Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Culture organization. In this emerging, enterprise-facing role, you will operate at the intersection of artificial intelligence and emerging technology, workforce analytics, DEIC strategy, external intelligence, strategic communications and enterprise consulting. The DEIC Director will translate complex data and emerging developments into practical strategies, scalable capabilities and clear business implications that strengthen workforce decisions and organizational outcomes. This position is onsite with flexibility and will be based in Indianapolis, Indiana with relocation assistance is provided.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the DEIC AI and emerging technology strategy by identifying responsible, practical applications that improve how the function operates and create scalable capabilities supporting a more inclusive and accessible workforce.
- Transform workforce data and external intelligence into action by synthesizing analytics, research, global developments and emerging trends into clear insights, risks, opportunities and strategic recommendations for DEIC and enterprise leaders.
- Develop, test and scale practical tools and frameworks that help leaders and employees apply inclusion and accessibility principles in everyday decisions, processes and interactions, while establishing appropriate approaches for governance, adoption, measurement and continuous improvement.
- Advise Centers of Excellence and strengthen analytical capability by integrating DEIC considerations into people strategies, policies, systems, measures and decision frameworks, while equipping DEI Partners to identify patterns, investigate root causes and evaluate outcomes.
- Lead an integrated DEIC communications strategy that translates priorities, insights, progress and emerging issues into clear, relevant and accessible messages for leaders and employees in partnership with enterprise Communications.
Education/Experience
- Enterprise strategy, consulting and executive influence: Significant experience advising senior leaders, synthesizing complex information and shaping enterprise strategies across organizational and functional boundaries, with the ability to move from strategic direction through implementation, adoption and sustained results.
- Applied AI, workforce analytics and insight development: Demonstrated experience identifying and advancing practical AI or emerging technology use cases, translating workforce data and research into meaningful business insights, and partnering effectively with technical, analytics and functional experts. Deep software engineering, machine learning or data science expertise is not required.
- Business leadership, financial planning and organizational transformation: Significant leadership experience managing strategic priorities, operating plans and budgets; coordinating complex enterprise deliverables; guiding change; and building the capability of teams and partners within a global, matrixed organization.
- College, university or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience, required.
- DEI certification preferred.
