About this role

Your Responsibilities

- Lead manufacturing feasibility, process concept development and industrialization for new products, product changes, localizations and major equipment modifications.

- Define process flow, assembly concepts, automation levels, cycle times, capacities and equipment requirements in close cooperation with global manufacturing plants.

- Drive equipment sourcing activities including technical specifications, RFQs, supplier evaluations and technical negotiations.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Operations, Purchasing, EHS and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution.

- Develop efficient production layouts and assembly solutions with focus on material flow, ergonomics, flexibility, scalability and future growth.

- Standardize manufacturing processes through FMEA management, Bill of Process governance, best practice sharing and global alignment across plants.

- Support production ramp-up, process approval, capacity optimization and problem-solving while proactively managing technical risks, timelines and project deliverables.

Your Experience and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable discipline.

- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in a production plant is required; more than 5 years is strongly preferred.

- Proven experience with complex assembly equipment, new equipment projects, major modifications and technical ramp-up support.

- Experience in electric compressors, pumps, electronics assembly, electric motors or comparable high-volume manufacturing is preferred.

- Business-fluent English is mandatory, German, Hungarian, Chinese or other languages relevant to the global plant network are an advantage.

- Strong supplier negotiation, stakeholder management, intercultural collaboration and early escalation capability.

- Practical understanding of plant priorities; structured, accountable and results-oriented across multiple projects.
