Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance

We are hiring a Field Service Representative (FSR) to support U.S. Government testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades of military ground vehicle and armored vehicle test platforms at DoD and civilian test sites across the United States. This hands-on field service role supports wheeled and tracked vehicle maintenance, test site operations, field rework, engineering procedures, and platform availability while ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with test plans, program schedules, and U.S. Government requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Lead field rework activities and FSR teams at U.S. Government, civilian, and other designated test locations.

- Perform direct platform-level troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on military ground vehicle test assets to maintain availability for U.S. Government testing.

- Conduct vehicle repairs, preventive maintenance, modifications, and upgrades in accordance with program requirements, engineering instructions, test plans, and schedules.

- Support test site operations, including management and storage of onsite system support packages, spare parts, consumables, and maintenance materials.

- Support the development of work packages and maintenance procedures for vehicle testing, repair, and modification activities.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, technical instructions, and maintenance documentation to complete troubleshooting and repair activities.

- Provide accurate status and progress updates to internal teams and U.S. Government test personnel regarding vehicle maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and test readiness.

- Collaborate with Field Engineer Representatives (FERs) and technical teams to develop field maintenance procedures and establish maintenance best practices.

- Support prototype vehicle production activities and the transition from prototype to serial production.

- Ensure maintenance and field service activities comply with company and U.S. Government safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.

- Safely and proficiently use basic mechanic tools and equipment required for vehicle maintenance and repair.

- Perform other maintenance and field service duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Must meet applicable U.S. Government requirements to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required for the position.

- Applicable or commensurate education, military training, technical training, and/or professional work experience.

- 5+ years of Field Service Representative or Field Engineer Representative (FSR/FER) experience at a U.S. Government test site.

- Hands-on experience performing vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs with limited onsite supervision.

- Knowledge of U.S. Army maintenance procedures and operations, including maintenance experience with wheeled and tracked vehicle platforms.

- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical instructions.

- Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) ground vehicle requirements.

- Knowledge of shop-related standards, processes, maintenance procedures, and safe work practices.

- Ability to safely and proficiently use basic mechanic tools and equipment.

- Experience with prototype production and transition to serial production.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

- Ability to clearly document and communicate vehicle maintenance status, technical findings, repair progress, and mechanical solutions to internal stakeholders and customers.

- Must meet company standards for background checks, employment verification, reference checks, and controlled substance testing.

- Must be able to travel extensively to U.S. Government and civilian test sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 4+ years of armored vehicle operations and/or maintenance experience in a military ground combat vehicle MOS.

- Mechanical, automotive A/C, and/or electrical certifications.

- Prior military service and/or related professional technical training.

- German language proficiency.

- Local to the Fort Hood, TX area.
