About this role
- Partner with facility leadership to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE programs, policies, and safe work practices that reduce operational risk.
- Support compliance with OSHA regulations, the EPS Global HSE Management System, and applicable environmental requirements.
- Lead safety initiatives, employee training, and incident investigations to strengthen safety performance and foster a proactive safety culture.
- Monitor HSE metrics and recommend improvements that enhance operational excellence across multiple facilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related technical field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems preferred.
- Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Experience developing HSE policies, procedures, and employee training programs.
- Strong hazard identification, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Youngstown, OH and Bridgeport, WV, with occasional additional travel as business needs require.
