About this role
Help define the future of hardware development by building a collaboration platform for circuit designs, enabling the next generation of smart vehicles, IoT devices, rockets, medical devices, robotics, and much more.
At AllSpice, we're building the agile development framework for hardware designers, including a Git-friendly translation layer and automated CI/CD framework for native circuit designs — think GitHub/GitLab + Copilot for electronics.

# Role and Responsibilities
The parsing team provides the institutional knowledge, SDKs and data model that sits at the bottom of the stack and other teams consume to build out services, experiences, and automations.
For most projects, you will be responsible for working with engineers from each relevant team to determine
- What data they need
What is the shape and structure of that data? What stability guarantees do we have for that data? Do we already provide that data in a different format?
- How we can provide that data
Do we need to parse new files from our customers? Is it an external database?
- The interface the team will use to consume that data
Are we providing them an SDK / Code module? Are we spinning up a service?
Along with this you will need to coordinate with the rest of the parsing team to determine when to extend existing interfaces or create new ones.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with product managers, sales and other stakeholders to provide timelines, expected features and constraints for the projects you are working on.
This is a highly autonomous role and the expectation is that you work collaborative, self-driven way.
Example Projects
- Provide the capabilities to merge binary file formats maintaining the overall structure and usability of the resulting file.
- Provide the SDK for generating Schematics, PCBs, and other ECAD data, used by both the AI and Automations teams.
- Improve performance of the parsing engine.
- Develop and implement parsers for new formats as required.
Our Stack

- Fluency with AI tools — you use them day-to-day to debug, document, and reduce operational toil, and expect this to be a normal part of how the team operates
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
