JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing operational support to instructional programs to include operating office and printing equipment, organizing materials, maintaining clean and orderly workspaces, and assisting faculty and staff with departmental needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, printers, scanners, and multi-line phones.
- Assist with printing, copying, assembling, and distributing instructional and departmental materials.
- Sort and distribute mail
- Maintain clean, organized instructional pool room, and storage areas.
- Support instructional activities, meetings, and special projects as assigned.
- Promote a safe, secure, and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment, including computers, copiers, scanners, printers, and multi-line phones.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous office, clerical, administrative, or customer service experience.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working in an educational or training environment.
- Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Typical office
- Business Hours
- M-Th 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. F 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
summer M-Th 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 pm
- Periodic evening and weekend hours during peak periods (e.g., open enrollment, payroll)
- Occasional travel (less than 10%)
Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Use manual dexterity to operate computers, office equipment, and filing systems.
- Frequently communicate with faculty, staff, students, and visitors and exchange accurate information.
- Frequently move files, office supplies, instructional materials, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally bend, reach, stoop, and lift while organizing materials or maintaining work areas.
Salary Range: $12.75 per hour
