About this role
? Inspect forklift for damage before and after daily usage.
? Notify Management of any equipment damages via daily inspection sheet
? Identify any and all safety hazards within the workplace
? Adhere to safety standards set by Corporate Safety & Local Management
? Receive inbound load assignment. Return to podium once you have completed
your load.
? Utilizing RF scanning tool to manage inventory tracking.
? Carry materials to different locations in the facility.
? Ensure the efficiency of cube load optimization on outbound trailers.
? Load material in a block and brace method. (no voids)
? Operate technical equipment as well as manage it.
? Adhere to production schedules.
? Operate a sit-down forklift to unload and load trucks on a cross dock
? Staging orders for shipment and loading. Place staging tag on all staged freight.
? Adhering to SOP’s by processing 1-2 pallets at a time. Never empty your entire
trailer on the floor then process from dock floor.
? Make sure pallet ID tags are placed on the upper right-hand corner of each pallet.
? Change propane tanks in changing area and ensure all safety measures are being
utilized. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.50 - $16.50 Per Hour
