Job Title: Inventory Forklift Operator (Scissor Lift & Reach Truck)

Location: Memphis, TN (Old Getwell Rd / Knight Arnold Rd area)

Shift:  8AM-4:30PM + Mandatory Overtime if Scheduled

Position Overview

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating a reach truck for high-bay replenishment and pallet retrieval, safe operation of a scissor lift for elevated stock checks, and basic computer proficiency to work directly with our Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Key Responsibilities

MHE Operation:

Safely operate a Stand-Up Reach Truck to pull pallets, handle rack storage, and perform location replenishment.

Operate a Scissor Lift to perform physical inventory checks, elevated rack audits, and spot counts safely at height.

Safely maneuver equipment through tight warehouse aisles while adhering to all OSHA and facility safety guidelines.

Perform daily pre-shift inspections on all assigned equipment (reach truck, scissor lift, sit-down forklift) and report maintenance needs promptly.

Inventory & WMS System Tasks:

Perform accurate cycle counts, physical inventory checks, and reconciliation tasks.

Use RF scanners and computer terminals to execute inventory transactions, transfers, receipts, and location updates in the WMS .

Identify, investigate, and report inventory discrepancies or mislocated items to the Inventory Control team.

Material Handling & Warehouse Support:

Move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to support manufacturing and shipping/receiving lines.

Load and unload pallets from racking, staging areas, and trailers as needed.

Maintain clean, organized rack bays and work areas following 5S / safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a Stand-Up Reach Truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Scissor Lift or elevated work platform.

Previous experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse restocking procedures.

Technical Skills:

Basic computer literacy (data entry, checking stock levels, navigating computer software).

Hands-on experience using handheld RF barcode scanners and WMS (Warehouse Management System) software preferred.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

Ability to comfortably work at heights using a scissor lift or elevated platform.

Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs periodically throughout the shift.

Ability to stand, bend, reach, and operate powered equipment for standard 8–10 hour shifts.

Comfortable working in a standard industrial manufacturing/warehouse setting.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
