Early Childhood Teacher

Blooming Minds Learning Community is looking for a passionate and committed Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Aley.

We are seeking someone who combines relevant educational experience with the right attitude, genuine care for children, creativity, and a strong willingness to learn and grow.

At Blooming Minds, our approach goes beyond traditional teaching. We follow an eclectic, child-centered educational approach that brings together effective practices from early childhood education, inquiry-based learning, Montessori-inspired practices, nature-based learning, and developmentally appropriate teaching.

The successful candidate will help create a safe, engaging, nurturing, and meaningful learning environment where children can explore, develop their independence, build relationships, and enjoy learning.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences and classroom activities.
Create an engaging, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
Support children's cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, and creative development.
Observe children's progress and contribute to developmental documentation and assessment.
Adapt activities according to children's individual needs, interests, and developmental levels.
Encourage children's independence, curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving.
Apply positive and developmentally appropriate behavior-management strategies.
Maintain children's safety and well-being throughout the day.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents and colleagues.
Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, professional development, and training.
Collaborate with the educational and administrative team to continuously improve classroom practices.
Prepare and organize educational materials and maintain an inviting learning environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, Special Education, or another relevant field.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably working with young children.
Genuine passion for education and child development.
Caring, patient, responsible, and positive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Creativity and ability to develop meaningful learning experiences.
Ability to receive feedback and continuously develop professionally.
Reliable, organized, and committed to the responsibilities of the position.
Familiarity with Montessori, inquiry-based, play-based, or other child-centered approaches is an advantage but not a requirement.
