Assistant Project Manager | Commercial Contracts
Location: Commercial Contracts
Schedule: Monday- Friday | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $45,000–$50,000 annually

Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking an organized, dependable, and service-focused Assistant Project Manager to support commercial janitorial operations and help ensure assigned customer locations are operated efficiently, safely, and in accordance with contract requirements.
This role supports project operations, employee performance, customer relationships, quality assurance, scheduling, payroll review, supply management, safety training, and cost control. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with the Project Manager, employees, customers, and agency leadership to maintain high-quality service and meet established budget and performance expectations.
Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager supports the management of assigned commercial projects while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring janitorial services meet the requirements outlined in each customer Statement of Work (SOW). This position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to balance operational, employee, customer service, and administrative responsibilities.
What Youll Do
- Support the efficient and cost-effective operation of assigned commercial projects.
- Ensure services are completed in accordance with customer Statements of Work (SOW) and established quality standards.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers and provide responsive, professional customer service.
- Monitor budget benchmarks and assist with controlling costs related to equipment, supplies, personnel, vacation, and overtime.
- Evaluate employee productivity using standards established by Challenge Enterprises.
- Develop efficient work schedules for employees assigned to projects.
- Complete quality assurance checks and distribute results to the appropriate contract representatives and agency leadership.
- Assist with reviewing payroll information in the agency payroll system.
- Support ongoing employee training, including use of the Clean Check Program where applicable.
- Ensure employees maintain neat, clean, and appropriate uniforms.
- Order approved supplies and equipment and complete required purchase order documentation.
- Participate in interviews for open and replacement positions using agency-approved forms.
- Conduct periodic safety training for assigned employees.
- Attend required meetings and participate in agency orientation and training.
- Follow all Challenge Enterprises policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmental disabilities.
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a related field.
- Knowledge of contract requirements and monitoring guidelines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Clean 3-year motor vehicle record.
- Ability to successfully complete a Level II background check.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round and routinely twist, stoop, bend, reach, pull, stand, and walk for up to eight hours per day.
