Interior Designer - Lead

Role Overview We are looking for an Interior Design Lead who can take ownership of the design function while leading and managing a team of interior designers . The role will be responsible for setting design direction, managing the team's workload and deliverables, and ensuring projects are delivered within timelines, budgets and brand standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and mentor the interior design team , allocating projects and monitoring individual deliverables.
- Own the end-to-end design process for new stores, renovations and expansion projects.
- Set design direction and ensure consistency with the brand's look, feel and customer experience.
- Review and approve layouts, design concepts, working drawings, BOQs and material specifications .
- Manage design timelines and ensure the team meets project milestones.
- Coordinate with Projects, Operations, Procurement, Real Estate, consultants and vendors .
- Conduct site visits and ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
- Drive cost optimisation and value engineering while maintaining design quality.
- Build and maintain design standards, processes and guidelines for the organisation.
- Identify and develop team capabilities through regular feedback, mentoring and performance management.
- Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

What We’re Looking For
- 8–12+ years of experience in interior design , preferably QSR, café, retail or hospitality.
- Proven experience managing and leading a team of designers .
- Strong understanding of commercial interiors, space planning, materials and project execution.
- Strong design judgement with the ability to balance creative, operational and commercial requirements .
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and relevant design software.
- Strong ownership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment .
