JOB SUMMARY
- Directs all aspects of Emergency Management for the Abilene Market to include developing and implementing emergency response and recovery plans; developing working relationships with local; state; and federal agency representatives; and ensuring emergency management compliance with Joint Commission standards.
- Directs all aspects of campus security for the Abilene Market to include maintaining oversight of a private security bureau; ensuring adequate staffing and resources to provide the appropriate level of security throughout the campus and ensuring security compliance with Joint Commission standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Education Bachelors Degree
- Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum Work Experience 5 years experience in healthcare emergency management or security
- 3 years management experience
- Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
- Meet required educational training as Administrator of Hendrick Hospice Care
- Be available during agencys operation hours
- Understand the physical; psychosocial and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families
- Must be knowledgeable of quality assessment and performance improvement activities
