About this role
- JOB SUMMARY Plans; organizes; directs; controls; and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster; including community; orientation; and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education. Participates in direct nursing care.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Bachelors Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director
- Minimum Work Experience 2 years in hospital clinical setting Women and Children (Mother/Baby; Perinatal and Neonatal ICU)
- Required Licenses/Certifications (Please note American Heart Association Instructor certification identifies the employee as both an Instructor and Provider ).
- Women and Children: Mother/Baby: Registered Nurse
- CPR-BCLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Deal effectively with hospital personnel
- Possess excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
- Maintain confidential information
- Be familiar with policy and procedures
