R&D Transport Coordinator

Are you passionate about logistics and eager to play a key role in developing innovative products? We are looking for an R&D Transport Coordinator, reporting to the Technical Services Manager, to optimize and manage logistics processes and transportation in an innovation-driven environment. In this role, you will have a real impact on operations by ensuring smooth and efficient logistics flows, directly contributing to the success of product development at BRP.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

- Manage & Optimize Transportation (STR): Plan and streamline the shipment of prototypes (small packages, road, air, ocean freight) to testing sites in the U.S. and internationally, while modernizing processes and work tools.
- Compliance & Customs: Implement suitable customs regimes (temporary import/export) in close collaboration with expert teams. Ensure shipment compliance across all stakeholders.
- Cost Management: Analyze shipping costs across various methods. Work with satellite teams to identify and apply cost-reduction levers.
- Act as a Liaison: Coordinate between engineering requests and the customs and transport teams.
- Problem Resolution & Risk Management: Resolve transport issues. Identify potential shipment risks and implement risk-mitigation initiatives.
- Team Support: Assist the team with various administrative tasks and responsibilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead the improvement of our transport processes by implementing more efficient tools.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

- College Diploma (DEC) in Logistics or equivalent experience.
- Background in industrial or R&D logistics, strong knowledge of multimodal transport rules, and a good understanding of the vehicle development cycle.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec, including English-only speakers.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, responsiveness, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset for working in cross-functional teams.
