Schedule: 10 hour schedule, Monday–Thursday

Worksite Location: Ormond Beach, FL

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair high voltage electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring electrical systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, test, and repair high voltage systems, including switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, and distribution equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform diagnostics using specialized testing equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Perform electrical testing and verify components operate as specified
- Execute switching procedures and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
- Inspect systems, identify faults, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and work performed
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other departments
- Follow all applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or electrical certification preferred
- 3–5+ years of high voltage electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and electrical safety
- Experience with high voltage testing and diagnostic equipment, including megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, multimeters, and relay test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in indoor/outdoor environments
