Variety Packaging Operator
Location : Bend, OR (In-Person)
Schedule : Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST
Compensation : $20.00 / hour
Position Summary
PrideStaff is seeking an efficient and reliable Variety Packaging Operator for a premier beverage manufacturing facility in Bend. Operate packaging line machinery to build and package multi-flavor variety packs. Monitor product quality, packaging integrity, and accurate labeling throughout the shift. Maintain strict adherence to food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and facility cleanliness. Enjoy a consistent schedule with 3-day weekends starting every Friday.
Key Responsibilities Assemble, pack, and label variety packs according to specific production schedules and flavor configurations. Safely operate and monitor packaging line equipment, conveyers, and case packing machinery. Perform visual quality checks on bottles, cans, cartons, and seals to ensure all products meet specification standards. Load packaging materials, cartons, and trays into machinery to maintain continuous production workflow. Complete accurate daily batch logs, production counts, and shift documentation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation, adhering to all GMP, SQF, and sanitation protocols. Collaborate closely with packaging line team members and supervisors to hit daily production targets.
Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in packaging, assembly, warehouse, or food/beverage manufacturing preferred. Strong attention to detail to ensure correct flavor counts, packaging alignment, and clear labeling. Dependable attendance with the ability to work a consistent 10-hour shift schedule. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive hands-on packaging tasks for extended periods. Ability to safely lift up to 40–50 lbs on a regular basis in a production environment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
