Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: First Shift - 5:00am-1:30pm, Second Shift - 1:30pm-10:00pm
Pay Rate: DOE
Location: San Jose, CA

Press Brake Operator Job Duties include:
? Set up multiple brakes in a given day for other operators and perform all brake set-up requirements
? Set up and run advanced parts and prototype parts, demonstrating the ability to set up and form any project.
? Work with Engineering to improve the forming process and develop any special tooling needed.
? Perform quality inspections and execute the duties of a sheet metal inspector.
? Create Lean Processes for all assigned projects.
? Ensure all safety protocols for running the brakes are followed and taught to all operators.
? Other duties as assigned
Press Brake Operator Preferred Skills include:
? High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
? Considered a content expert in the field.
? Capable of creating curriculum for a course that assists management in training others to reduce safety issues, quality defects, and productivity challenges.
? Ability to train others on all aspects of the forming process.
? Flexible to work in other areas of the facility when needed.
? Solid computer knowledge to fulfill Epicor requirements
Press Brake Operator Requirements may include:
? Minimum of 10+ years of brake experience.
? Advanced knowledge of sheet-metal principles, advanced blueprint reading, and complete material knowledge.
? Ability to set up and operate multiple processes of machines, including running all types of brakes at company.
? Advanced use of shop math(such as K-factor, Q, and Z) and advanced use of all inspection equipment.
? Ability to problem-solve issues requiring an immediate understanding of the problem, while contributing to long-term fixes.
? Ability to lift over 50 lb occasionally and work days, swing, or night shifts as required.
