Position Title: Structural Fitter
Location: Zip Code 77064
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 / hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays during high production)
Job Summary
Seeking a Structural Fitter with 5+ years of experience to interpret blueprints and assemble structural steel components, conveyor frames, and supports.
Key Responsibilities
Read blueprints, lay out steel components, and perform tack welding.
Prep materials using saws, ironworkers, magnetic drills, and grinders.
Inspect fitted assemblies for precise dimensions and quality.
Safely operate overhead cranes/forklifts and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements
5+ years of structural fitting or steel fabrication experience.
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills (tape measure, squares, calipers).
Knowledge of steel types, sizes, and geometric shapes.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
