Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Facilities Coordinator to join our Workplace and Facilities Management team supporting one of our key Government portfolios.
Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about property operations, facilities management, and service excellence to gain exposure to a large, complex portfolio while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

Essential Requirements:
✅ Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
✅ Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance is essential.
✅ Previous experience within facilities, property, building operations, or customer-facing environments will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned property portfolio and support the Facilities Manager as required.
- Coordinate reactive and planned maintenance activities across sites.
- Act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related requests and incidents.
- Support the management of critical incidents and business continuity activities.
- Conduct annual property inspections, audits, and compliance checks, including NABERS assessments.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements and legislative requirements.
- Maintain asset registers and support lifecycle planning initiatives.
- Manage contractor inductions and compliance documentation.
- Prepare annual budgets and support financial forecasting and reporting.
- Process and reconcile maintenance and operational invoices.
- Ensure work orders are effectively managed and completed within required timeframes.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

- Experience within facilities management, property operations, building services, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong administrative, financial, and organisational skills.
- Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively within a broader team.
