Qualifications for a Production Lead Experience in a leadership position Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and to write simple correspondence Basic math Integrity of confidential employment and business information Ability to analyze and solve problems Honesty, fairness, flexibility, and tact Possession of the trust and respect of employees, co-workers and management Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
Responsibilities for a Lead Learn and operate equipment and provide leadership and coordination to crew Ability to work as a team and help others Responsible for safety, quality and efficiency Provide crew leadership and coordinate crew Support and lead training efforts Meet performance metrics Document and communicate well Participate in continuous improvement and effectively communicate opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness for this position Foster an attitude of lean thinking, improvements and motivating the rest of the team Ensure all safety guidelines are followed Fulfillment of all job responsibilities successfully by being able to perform each essential duty satisfactory
