About this role
We are looking for a Functional Analyst/SAP Developer that will be responsible for the Human Resources requests for our Austrian entities.
This position will report directly to our Applications Support Manager.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Own end-to-end technical delivery across projects, enhancements, and change requests, covering the full software lifecycle (feasibility, design, development/coding, testing) and ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Translate HR business requirements into functional solutions, working closely with Business Analysts, IS Coordinators, PMO, and Solution Architecture
- Implement requirements in ABAP and SAP Fiori
- lead and govern external development partners, including coordination, delivery oversight, and acting as a technical quality gate
- Ensure testing excellence, defining test scenarios with PMO and executing functional testing to validate business requirements
- Support data transformation and integration topics, collaborating with Data Engineering & Architecture to align on approach and execution
- Ensure compliance and operational excellence, including adherence to IT governance (e.g., SOX, ITSM), contribution to best practices, and support for assigned applications
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Studies in computer science or equivalent
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- Technical knowledge in SAP HCM system including customizing and ABAP development
- Understanding and experience in human resources processes a strong asset
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Strong communication skills and analytical thinking and acting
