BRP is seeking a SAP Security Analyst to design, implement, and maintain secure SAP authorization concepts across our global landscape.
Reporting to the Global SAP Security Leader, you will manage user access, govern SoD principles and SAP GRC controls, and ensure full compliance with internal and regulatory frameworks. Serving as a trusted technical advisor across IS&T and business teams, you will safeguard access integrity while supporting major enterprise initiatives like S/4HANA transformations and cloud integrations.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Execute, maintain, and support SAP authorization concepts, role models, and access governance processes in alignment with Global SAP Security standards, methodologies, and Canada IS&T requirements.
- Perform SAP user lifecycle administration activities, including user provisioning, modification, transfer, periodic review, and deprovisioning, following approved processes and controls.
- Build, test, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP roles, profiles, and authorization objects according to business requirements and global security standards.
- Support and collaborate with SAP GRC Access Control solutions, including Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Emergency Access Management (EAM), Access Request Management (ARM), and Business Role Management (BRM).
- Execute Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, identify potential access risks, and support remediation activities in coordination with business and security stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance regarding SAP authorization concepts, access requests, risk mitigation controls, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and perform/support the periodic user access reviews, role recertifications, and access validation activities across the SAP environment.
- Support compliance with Internal Controls, IT General Controls (ITGC), SOX requirements, audit standards, and corporate security policies through the execution of established security processes and controls.
- Prepare and maintain audit documentation, evidence, reports, and supporting materials related to SAP logical access controls, and assist in remediation activities for audit findings.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 to ten years of experience in a similar role within Multinational Companies
- Strategic business acumen and understanding of organisation strategy and ability to design a solution to deliver that strategy
- Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience with working with executive stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritise and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment
- Fluent in English.
