We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant II (DA2) to join our mobile dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance and support to dentists providing pediatric dental care.
Our dental truck visits schools daily. You will be working with children in grades Kindergarten through high school.
This position offers a fast paced environment where your skills in dental assisting and patient care will directly impact our patients’ smiles and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
• Assist dentist on the dental mobile truck with various clinical procedures in pediatric dentistry.
• Prepare treatment areas by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for appointments.
• Helping to ensure the children are calm and comfortable in the chair.
• Ensure infection prevention management through proper sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant II or similar role within a busy dental clinic or mobile environment.
• Proficiency with Dentrix; familiarity with patient management software is preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control standards including healthcare infection prevention and control expertise and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in four-handed dentistry setups alongside dentists for enhanced patient care delivery.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team.
• Certification in radiography or X-ray technology is required; additional certification in pediatric dentistry is advantageous.
