Job Summary:
PrideStaff is partnering with a premier local wholesale food distributor to find a dedicated, detail-oriented Grocery Loader to join their active warehouse team! In this critical role, you will be responsible for hand-loading outbound frozen, cooler, and dry products in stop-sequence order onto trailers and trucks to ensure customers receive correct orders on time and in top condition. Key Responsibilities:
Hand-load outbound frozen, cooler, and dry products onto pre-designated trucks or trailers in precise stop-sequence order.
Utilize pallet jacks and manual handling techniques to safely move, sort, and position product pallets.
Secure completed loads safely using load bars to maintain product integrity and prevent damage during transport.
Complete shipping loading reports and clearly communicate any special loading circumstances to drivers and supervisors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and debris-free work area while consistently meeting company safety, productivity, and OS&D goals.
Work collaboratively with peers and supervisors to limit mispicks, shortages, and product damages.
Qualifications & Special Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Possess basic math and reading skills, with the ability to speak, read, and understand English clearly.
Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach overhead continuously for periods of two hours or more.
Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions ranging from 38°F (refrigerated/cooler zones) to 110°F (warm distribution areas).
Ability to be trained and certified on required material handling equipment within 30 days of hire.
Flexible schedule availability to accommodate early shifts, staying late, and weekend work based on customer demand.
Must be able to successfully pass a physical capabilities test, drug screen, and criminal background check.
