About this role

Job Title: Event Operations Coordinator Job Description Take ownership of the inventory room, including organizing materials and implementing an inventory tracking system. Manage inventory of branded event materials and supplies used for large-scale events. Conduct regular inventory counts, document inventory through photos, and maintain accurate records. Coordinate shipping and tracking of event materials. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting event supplies as needed. Be comfortable working on your feet, moving materials, and supporting event setup and breakdown activities. Responsibilities

- Organize and maintain the inventory room, implementing an efficient tracking system.
- Manage the inventory of branded event materials and supplies for large-scale events.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and document them through photos.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate the shipping and tracking of event materials.
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of event supplies.
- Support event setup and breakdown activities.
- Open and process purchase orders and integrate new vendors into internal systems.
- Process invoices and payments.
- Support general event administration and reporting.

Essential Skills

- 3+ years of experience in event planning.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Comfortable with inventory planning and management.
- Event coordination and logistics skills.
- Strong administrative support skills.
- Billing and event research skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Proficient in office skills and packing products.
- Experience in event logistics, management, content, and marketing.
- Ability to communicate effectively.

Work Environment The position requires working 5 days a week in the NYC office from 9 am to 6 pm. There is potential for remote flexibility after the initial onboarding and training period. Must be available for an 8-10 day conference in Austin, TX from Jan 27 to Feb 3. This role offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to take on greater ownership and responsibility as trust and experience are built. The team is rapidly expanding, adding 4-5 new events this year alone.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
