The Visiting Associate (Internship, Associate) position in BCG Bogotá is designed for students in their final semesters who are seeking to complete their university-required professional internships.

It is essential to be formally enrolled in a university program and to have institutional approval in order to begin the internship, and this enrollment must remain active throughout the entire duration of the program, whether it lasts six months or one year, starting in June 202.

This opportunity offers students the chance to work alongside consulting teams, apply analytical and problem-solving skills, engage directly with clients, and gain hands-on experience that accelerates their professional and personal growth.

Applicants must have Colombian citizenship or appropriate sponsorship that permits legal study and/or work in Colombia.

What You'll Bring

- Formal enrollment in a university program, with institutional approval to complete a professional internship, valid for the entire duration of the program (six months to one year).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable steps.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Proactivity and eagerness to learn, with a genuine interest in strategy consulting and professional growth.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Colombian citizenship or appropriate sponsorship that permits legal study and/or work in Colombia.

Who You'll Work With

As a Visiting Associate, you'll be part of collaborative, cross-functional consulting teams, working directly with team members across all levels of the firm on real client engagements. You'll also have the opportunity to interact directly with clients through meetings and presentations, gaining early exposure to how strategic decisions are made.

Beyond your immediate project team, you'll be part of a broader community of BCGers, with access to mentorship and a network of colleagues ready to support your learning throughout your internship.
