Lead Integration Developer

Are you an experienced integration developer who enjoys solving complex
technical challenges and helping others deliver their best work?

We’re
looking for a Lead Integration Developer to design, build and support
integrations for systems of varying size and complexity. You’ll provide
technical direction to a small team while also contributing as part of a wider
delivery team. Working with limited supervision, you’ll use your judgement,
technical knowledge and commercial awareness to resolve problems and deliver
reliable solutions that meet agreed quality standards.

You’ll
lead the development and support of Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) and
Application Programming Interface (API) based interfaces. You’ll also play an
important role in production support, incident resolution, releases, system
improvements and the ongoing stability of business-critical applications.
This
is a UK-wide hybrid role. You’ll work remotely for much of the time, with
ad-hoc attendance at an office, customer site, meeting or training session when
required.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading the development, support and maintenance of SFTP and API based interfaces.
- Driving production support, incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Managing application releases, deployments, patching, upgrades and change activities.
- Improving monitoring, logging and automation while maintaining system stability, availability and performance.
- Guiding the team, prioritising work and providing expert technical direction.
- Producing system documentation, preparing achievable estimates and delivering work to agreed timescales.

What you’ll bring:

- Experience leading technical teams and supporting people to deliver strong business outcomes.
- Strong Oracle Integration Cloud experience.
- Proven experience supporting and maintaining production applications.
- Experience of release management, deployments and application patching.
- Experience working in high-availability, business-critical environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

It would be great if you had:

- Knowledge of the defence sector.
- Experience with web Methods API Gateway.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and modern delivery practices.
- Experience with other integration platform as a service (iPaaS) technologies, such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
- Experience integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion applications.
