emergiTEL is hiring an AML Internal Auditor – Manager / Senior Consultant for our client in the Financial Services industry. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to permanent.

Hourly Pay Rate : $75-$84.75 per hour

Job Description
Our client is looking for AML Internal Auditors to support a client engagement in the financial services sector. The team will include AML Internal Auditors at both the Senior Consultant and Manager levels:-
This is an opportunity to work on highly technical and complex projects while applying your AML, Financial Crimes, and Internal Audit expertise. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to projects focused on regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal controls.

What You Will Do

Manager will be responsible for:

- Using a risk-based approach to lead the end-to-end execution of enterprise-level Financial Crimes and AML audit projects effectively and efficiently.

- Reviewing operational processes to identify potential enhancements and assess and mitigate risk.

- Executing independent assessments of AML compliance programs against regulatory requirements, guidance, and industry practices.

- Managing the coordination and validation of remediated Financial Crimes-related regulatory findings.

- Supporting Internal Audit AML functions in executing and leading AML internal audits, including control testing and validation of management remediation to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

- Coaching junior team members to support their professional development.

- Developing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships with management and staff within Financial Crimes, AML, and Audit.

- Maintaining flexibility to travel as necessary to support client engagements.

Senior Consultant will be responsible for:

- Executing various testing steps as part of Enterprise AML Program independent assessments.
