An international 5-star hotel in Dubai, UAE is seeking experienced Waitresses to join its Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidates must have relevant hospitality experience, excellent guest service skills, and a polished, professional attitude to deliver a refined dining experience in line with international luxury hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional, and courteous service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel standards and sequence of service
- Maintain strong menu knowledge, including dishes, beverages, ingredients, allergens, and special promotions
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, organized, and ready for guest service
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Handle guest feedback or minor concerns politely and report issues to the supervisor when required
- Support upselling of menu items, beverages, desserts, and special offers
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, stewarding, hostess, and service team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
- Follow grooming, appearance, posture, and communication standards as per international 5-star hotel requirements
- Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as required
Requirements
- Must have relevant experience as a Waitress or F&B Service Attendant
- Prior experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, fine dining outlet, or international hospitality environment is strongly preferred
- Good knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards and sequence of service
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, confident, and professional approach
- Presentable, well-groomed, and able to represent a luxury hotel image
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, French, German, or Chinese are an advantage
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced operation and handle guest requests professionally
- Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
